NCDC 2015 BUT "Radio Safe" alarm...
« on: 14 August 2009, 17:09:58 »

Hello!

So, I've NCDC 2015 with OnStar, Nav and phone but how I could reset the alarm, because "Radio Safe" alarm comes on the screen always. Do I've to use Tech2 or what?
Steeringwheel buttons doesn't work too but all another is okey.

I hear that in Europe isn't possible to use OnStar system...
Am I right?

If someone could help me, I'm very pleased...

The radio and screen are not paired to each other.

Everything in the system - radio, integral cd changer (counts as seperate device), telematics and screen all need to be paired together with tech2 (note: "My Naff Code Reader" makes a mess of this, and isn't recommended for this task).

If any item is not in a delivery/depaired state, you need to know the original pairing code used for that device.

Thanks!

I don't know, what then done in Germany on my car because I just buy it 4 month ago and that alarm has been all that time on car.

Okey, I've to get from dealer the code and check it out by Tech2.

I inform later how it goes...

the dealer can only provide the original code that was valid when it left factory - sounds like a least one thing has been changed since.

Might be worth finding out what is in delivery mode and what isn't first...

I'm second owner about car and I bought the car from Irmscher. It was Irmscher company show car and the salemanager was car "owner" there so I think that all components are original... But maybe I've to ask that thing over there too...
