Remove the Key
Press and hold AS
Enter the key and strat the engine (keep the AS while starting)
and yo will hear a beep
enter code
press and hold AS

this is the best way and simpliest.

If all else fails I have a CCRT700 and CDC 2 here (no harness though) I have codes for both, if you want to make me a sensible offer  :y

If you PM with your address I will post you a manual  I seem to have acquired over the years for a CCRT 700 Audio System you can have it ! ::)

  ,it works!!!!!!
     re installed the head unit, ignition key out, pressed as button, ignition on, radio on, radio safe, waited about an hour and a half, t cut the doors whilst i was waiting, checked on the display and hey presto, code entry available with 5 trys left, entered code and now have tape and radio working, and the clock has set itself ;D
   no cd though, message comes up cd safe, dont have the code for it :-/but 2 out of three aint bad.
  just like to say a big thankyou to all the forum members for there help and advice with this :y
