I dont seem to have double lock or alarm.

Am I correct in all omega's have a double press on lock to double lock? sure my old one used to but tbh had so many cars over the years may be wrong.

Definately no alarm, the switch flashes when you press it to disable ultrasonics but thats only time it ever lights up.

Tried leaving window open, locked and left 30secs then popped locks from inside and it just unlocked.

same with the key, locks on first turn then nothing

Not sure about the key side, never tried mine, but when the locks go out of sync they need to be reset. Mine does it after removing the battery, it will only lock but not dead lock.
Anyway, turn ign on (not start the car) and press keyfob button to unlock the car, should reset the locks for you.

gave that a try, nothing

turned ignition on, pressed a button (tried both lock & unlock buttons) nothing happened and still wont double lock

On my facelift I had the same problem until I noticed that the couresy light on the driver's door was not working. I changed the door switch and the alarm and double locking then worked.

looks like mines same problem, courtesy light is dead and interior lights dont turn on when doors open so switch must be dead.

Did this today and the double locks worked. But wont double lock on the key? Am I missing something??? TIA
