My bose amp just used the Red/White wire as its remote switch

The BOSE amp isnt clever enough to Fail Safe itself if theres a shorted speaker it still works :y

i also used a CCRT700

The red/white shown @ the end is for the CD changer, I've just looked @ the loom from a car without Bose and that wire is there.

ok. thanks for those updates.

So were saying that if i hotwire the red/white cable in the back of the cd player to the amp red/white cable then we may get somewhere?

sorry for delay... im recovering from the piggy flu :)
