I should imagine it's need to be Tech2'd to change it, I'm sure one of the Tech2 owners will be along shortly to prove me wrong ;D ;D

I seem to recall that in my pre-facelift it was something simple (like pressing reset when displaying the outside temperature).

I can't see any reference to it in the facelift owners manual.

Have you tried the reset button on the wash/wipe stalk?

Are we talking outside air temp or climate display? AFAIK the outside temp only reads in oC while the climate can be changed to oF with a TechII on a PRE facelift.
Facelift cars can change the climate to F - Please read the manual  ;)  ;)  ;)

For MIDs, a Tech2 required.

For climate, facelift can be changed as per manual, prefacelift is Tech2
