er..... fitted it. Seems to work. Got voice and "ext. line in" or whatever it is on display. No traffic yet though. But not been on motorway so.....

How come the plastic "cage" thing holding the radio cage in place never lines up with the surround? Radio is off centre still even though i tightened the screws to hold it to the left. rather cage is like a razor. It scratched me plastic wood. :-(

What issues should i expect with the standard wiring if its not as Z's diag? (Cheers captain)

As said all plugs are full of pins.

Does the phone still work?

If you press TM button, do you hear 'Traffic Master'

Phone works, no issues.
When pressing TM during a call it mutes the phone, or what ever is playing, and says Traffic Master, auto mode, manual one, license expired. Etc.

Not tried it with the terwat nav yet but sure its fine. :-)

ok had a bit of a play on the M4 today.(in the car with the TM of course).

All works fine when in range of a major road. But when out of range the button is dead. Nothing, not even "Traffic Master" or volume mode or license mode no manual or automatic mode. Just doesnt respond, like its dead. But get near the m4 and it works fine. Is that right? Would think it would talk at any time wouldnt it?

It is auto but it's gone already and it was also scratched. The new owner is going to flat it down and paint it body colour.

thats correct. Not sure why its silent when out of range - you should still be able to get manual mode/auto mode/volume mode/trafficmaster etc etc from the stereo
