hi guys and girls, just a quickie. should the led come on when you press the fob.i have 2 fobs nether light up and the cl don't work,the answer is probably on hear some where.but any help apreciated :y

hi martin its 2 button its not the original fob but has been working for the last 2 years.its got a button on the top and a button on the side and takes 2 battrys code cr2025 :y

IR = Infra Red, do you have a red dome up near the interior light/rear view mirror?

It's the older system then, you virtually need to be in the car for it to work with a good battery! And yes there should be a red LED on the fob when you press a button. Where abouts are you? If you're near I'll gladly have a look for you.
