No worries - looks like I'm off tomorrow, so will have a proper look.
A bulb has gone in one, is all!

35mm and LED`s are total crap in the door lights unless you have at least 8 per bulb and then they`re still pi$$ poor

Agree, the LED ones work well in the roof, but are useless in the doors

Being completely honest, I think puddle lights are purely for show.
Can't say I've ever 'used' them in the intended way! :y

they are only for the car coming so they see your door is open. usless at anthing els. and it say's only one type should be fitted 5W, thats in the book, wrong bulds fitted can over heat the puddle, as they are not vented.

True, but LED's don't warm up as they are not a bulb! :y

Actually, some of the heat dissapation from some of the High Intensity LED`s is staggering, not from the LED itself, but usually require a small heatsink to dissapate the heat generated from the current they pull.

Seen quite a few melted courtesy lights now that have been used with multiple LED replacement bulbs from Chinese Fleabay. The more expensive LED bulbs, although also hot, do not yet appear to be melting the plastic, but even so, you may not need to use the heater in the car !!
