Didn't know that!

I'm not the greatest versed in LEDs, but the ones I have played with don't get even slightly warm!

Very different to ordinary LED`s.

One of my other Companies is involved in aviation design, and we have a prototype landing light here that we were playing about with a while ago using 12 high intensity LED`s grouped together. This is mounted on a billet aluminium heatsink 10" in diameter and around an inch thick, and it still gets too hot to hold !
