Hi all just a little help needed i have the above stereo in my elite. The Cd is in safe mode is there anything i can do to get this fixed or would it be cheaper to find another stereo same model as i have Bose set up getting abit boring just hunting through radio stations to listen to music. Thanks in advance.

your getting CDC Safe? - This is a hardware problem, PM DaveDND see if he can fix it  :y

Define what you are calling "SAFE" mode ?

What exactly does the display say ?

SAFE and nothing else = Needs IGN On and Code

A number shown to the left of SAFE = too many wrong attempts at entering code, and radio needs to be left switchd on before another attempt at entering code

CDC SAFE = Software failure of Head unit and Yes, I can repair it
