cant get sound out ov new cd player

just bought the v6 estate omega and bought kenwood flip to replace the phillips ccrt700 but cant get no sound out ov it all cums on but no sound output .... any help wud be much appreciated thanks

does your ccrt700 have bose written on it?
and the speaker covers?

if so, there is an amp in the system as well, and speaker all run at 2 ohms, a lot of work to replace.

will a vauxhall cd player work in there then becoz the kind owner before me removed the disc changer from boot

if you have a bose system, then only a bose system will work unless you replace everything.  :'(

cheers any chance u know where the leads r supposed to be for the disc changer  :)

they should end in a cubby hole, drivers side corner by boot opening.

can I get you to avoid text speak as well please  :y  frowned upon here  :y

should be a power lead and a multiplug loitering behind the cubbyhole.

i think i found them is the power lead got like a brass finish on it and do you know what changers were in the cars originally  :) thanks

think its a blaupunct cdc-2, but a specific one, there are several types of cdc2

Have you answered if it has Bose or not? Its quite important and will help us to help you!

The connector int the changer is actually a single one having 2 x 6 pins in a black moulded connector.

it is bose aand i think i found the wires but do any ov u know the sequence to input the radio code on the ccrt700 thanks for your help so far everyone much appreciated

I`m making the assumption that if a CCRT700 was fitted, then yes, it would be BOSE ?

Only to Elite models, the non-Bose CCRT700 was also available on mini-facelift as an option
