CCRT700 - wiring diagram
« on: 12 December 2009, 20:39:56 »

 Hi,

Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the CCRT700 unit please. In particular connection between the radio/display and CD changer.

I've noticed that people sometimes post up wiring diagrams - which is what I'm after.

I've struggled with getting diagrams off some of the TIS type software available via popular on-line auction sites  :-/

Would be happy to "compensate" or perhaps make a donation to help for heroes to reflect any time spent on this for me.

PMs welcome.

TIA .......... Rob

If you have TIS, look under Vectra or Astra for Audio with Carphone.

If you are thinking of retro fitting ccrt from ccr setup, it really isn't worth the effort. Been there, done that.

Everything can be done on traffic master loom, so you dont butcher loom (which is too tight to work on anyway).

Few changes for display, nothing much for cd changer (other than putting a ccrt cdc2 in), just moving wires due to different plug. Audio in different, mic needs wiring in.  courtesy light wiring is a bit different

TB,

Is the "factory" difference in the car done on the TM loom only? What I mean is, do they have one loom in the vehicle and then adapt to the different pins with the TM loom or is the loom itself different in "700" vehicles? If so then that should mean that the plug for the display is the same - which makes life  whole lot easier!

I've done a deal with someone breaking an Elite who will let me strip it out myself.

My current Parrot will go into my Son's car as frankly I can't get on with it in the Omega.

Should make a nice little project between xmas & new year, if it all goes horribly wrong then I'll just put it back to the CCR800. I've got the Omega SORNed at the moment, but will re tax her in January.

Thanks  - Rob

Oh, bumbles .........

Good job I'm cutting it out myself then. Traffic master loom seems critical to getting it going in that case ........
