MID Furbared ?
« on: 15 December 2009, 16:32:20 »

Took the instrument panel out today, when I put it back the MID doesnt work, checked that the plugs are plugged in properly which they are.Dont think its the fuse as Haynes says its the same fuse as indicators etc which work OK,so Im guessing it didnt like being disconnected and has died ? :-/

its possible the bulbs have gone - may have not had full compliment working before, and with all the moving, the others (tired by now) have given up

I had all mine all pop together once when I had the dash out to replace a blown speedo bulb.

Shine a torch at the MID and see if you can still make out the characters on the display.  If you can, then it is just the bulbs that have gone.
