No heat from my 1999 v6 with climate control
« on: 19 January 2010, 23:01:39 »

Hi guys, I`m sorry if this subject has been previously covered elsewhere but mine seems a bit different. The only area where any heat comes from in my car are the centre vents on the dash and this is normally so miniscule that does nothing to increase cabin temp (an increase in enginge revs sometimes seems to help but not always!). Engine temp gauge runs at 95 and the hoses in and out of the heater matrix both feel hot. The scuttle drains are clear and it has just had a new pollen filter. The led(or bulb) however on the passenger side temp display does not work, although you can see the number change as you + or- . Sorry to be a pain but are there any checks that I can do myself or is it main dealer job? Many thanks!

As an update to this I have been told that it may be the cabin temp sensor playing up........if so has any body changed one of these and can you tell me where it is located? Also is it a job I can do myself? Any help would be appreciated, thankyou.
