Is there a decent replacement for my ncdc 2013 that will still work with the inbuilt screen thing?

I think that you will  find that the answer is a no mate, i asked something along the same lines a couple of days earlier, see my post dnd advice please. Sorry. :(

No.

If you change to aftermarket, to retain computer functions, you need a later style MID, a new wiper stalk, and a small amount of wiring from display to new stalk.
