Indicator Relay
« on: 17 February 2010, 17:52:19 »

Is there any way of making the relay louder when indicating. On my old Omega I put a telephone amplifier on the relay. on my facelift there is not enough space to do this and the sound insulation is so good that I cannot hear the clicking. I know you will say get a hearing aid.

Use the tell tale light!  ;)
How about a 4 pin trailer relay? I found that they tended to have a slightly louder click.  :-/

I always find that the light hides behind the steering wheel.  I thought about a trailer relay but I am not sure how to wire  it in

VW Beetle relay was designed to have a very loud "click" as part of its retro feel

May be worth looking as to whether compatable?
