Is there any good upgrades for the speakers in the 2002
2.6 v6, would like to change, but not sure if worth it.

It's not bose, HU is a Ccr2006 but this may change as it has
a faulty balance switch, and no amp, just think there may
be better options ?

might be one for dave dnd to comment on.

Decent speakers help, even with std HU, but if changing HU, makes sense to get speakers that can do it justice

other side of coin, replacement head units (decent ones) are much more powerful than standard, i have an Alpine head unit, sounds much better than the weak CDR2005 that was in before

The CDR2005 is undoubtedly the worse sounding of the standard facelift radios.  Even the CCR2006 sounds much better.
