Dashboard illumination
« on: 10 April 2010, 23:32:18 »

On the way home tonightI lost illumination to the temp gauge and half the rev counter :(

Is this just one bulb gone or two ???, or should I replace all of them while I have the clocks panel out next week ..... ??

And does anyone have a part number for the bulbs ???

merci beaucoup ..  :)

replace all of them in one go, as soon as you take the dash out others will start to go, so for the cost replace them all

Make sure you use the right wattage bulbs as well. When I bought the last elite someone had put the more common 5W bulbs in and they were far too bright (especially with the CID on the left at half the brightness).

IIRC the originals are 3W
