manual conversion wiring

hey there, new to the site. Ive just finished doing the manual conversion but now i get the automatic transmission error on mid. how do i get rid? ive read of earthing out a wire to change it to manual on mid but dont know what wires to do?

Car is currently sorned so cant get it to a tech2.

can anyone tell me what wires need sorting out plz?

Excellent, do i just chop the wire and then put the plug end of the wire to an earth point? taping up the other end frorm the loom.

IIRC yes but put a low blow fuse, such as a 3 amp, inline just in case. If it survives and clears the message then you should be OK without the fuse :y

I've also made the conversion on my 3litre, you have to go to TECH2 programming, to dissolve the automatic transmission message on your screen. In the ABS menu must set up that your car is manual, furthermore in the dispaly menu too (as i remember well).
