Just a quick question, would a new cdc40 head unit fit into the omega?

It certainly isn't a straight swap.  I've been battling to fit a CD70, and that so far has eluded me....

No,

And for the record
CC20, CD30, CDC40,CD50,CDC60,CD70,DVD90 are all going to need extra screens and a whole load of trouble with wiring if you are going to try and make them fit as the Omega does not have the CANBUS wiring like the post 2005 cars.

TB - suggest to give up !  Not sure at what point you are now stuck, but the lack of any compatable CAN signals means that the unit will usually tend to shut down after not very long - gets to be a real pain after a while. We have to use CANBUS emulators on the test bench to run them and at near a grand a time, there are cheaper alternatives for the car if thats what you were now thinking
