Traction Control Mount

I have an omega 2,2 dti estate 2002, but without traction control.. is there any way i can mount it or activate it from the ecu?? has anyone done this before?? when its snow it slides like a boat uncontrolable.

No you cant, plus traction control I find, does more harm than good in the snow, I always turn it off, find you get more control, providing you drive gently.

Make better snow preparations, get a lot of weight in the boot to get more traction on the driven wheels, also you can reduce tyre pressure a bit, also helps.

pfff.... i verry much hoped i could... if i find another car like mine that has tc what should i take from that and mount on mine?

Engine ECU, ABS ECU (and possibly hydraulics?), Gearbox ECU.  Might need loom, you will need button and bulb for dash.

too much and too much trouble :).. thank you all for the help. i heard that i culd do it just by writing new software on the car ecu and activate tc thats why i asked here to confirm |:)

Correct. The ABS modulator needs another set of valves to implement TC so the capability simply isn't there in "hardware".

You'll probably find the engine ECU is not capable / configured to support TC either, as it wasn't fitted on a 2.2.
