Just posted question about radio signal so thought I'd get in the boot and have a peek!under the Bose amp tray are some wires one with a block connecters and it's taped too what looks like a gps antenna.what's it for?doesn't look like the sat nav wiring as it's only one plug.is it for the powered aerial supply?of so where do I plug it in??

Phone pre-wiring I believe .... mine has it inspite of having a CCRT700 phone/head unit  ;)

In the boot? depends on what car you have... Mini facelift / facelift etc.

Do you have a photo of the wires and connector at all?
