Headlight level adjustment
« on: 07 June 2010, 09:10:06 »

Hi All,

I would like to ask your help in the following, my headlight level adjusters are not working. I checked the connections and it seems that everything is properly connected however the engines are not moving if I spin the small wheel under the headlight switch. Can you advise me which is the fuse of the leveler and also if you have any other tips what should I check. ('97 omega, 2 liter with lens headlights)

Thanks in advance

is it auto leveller or one with the switch, as manual (1-2-3)controller is the light switch unit its self. auto leveller is controld by same box but switch is under the car.

it is manual (1-2-3) switch, can it be the switch itself, that is not working?

Even though the lights are not physically moving, are there any motor noises coming from the lamps when the switch is activated?

In that case, I think I would probably be starting off next with a  replacement switch

I replaced the switch, but no improvement, is there any relay or other fuses I can check or the error is in the wiring? Any ideas?

Thanks,

take the motors out of the lights and put out on side turn start to 2 on key should see motors go in and out, even with light not on they should move for 1min to 1.30seconds as a reset, also can check for volts at this time. can hear them going just before starting engine., allso check the eath wires under the battery on the bolt.... remember to take the battery off to do the earth wires......
