Hi All,
Just got my first omega, a MV6 estate.
Got the ncdc 2013 headunit but the top slot doesnt seem to work, just says please insert a disc with the image facing up.
Does anyone repair these in the kent area please?
I assume the sat nav disc only works in this slot?!?
Also, got some other little electrical jobs need doing, anyone near gillingham can help me out?

NCDC 2013 has a top slot for sat nav disc, what display do you have. dose it say bose in the display on the dash. do you have bose fitted as the 2013 needs to be set up with your display with tech2.

 I have a NCDC 2013 in mine. Top slot is for Sat Nav disc but it should also play a CD (original, not copies) although if Nav is set for route it cannot re-route without Nav disc in.

Tech2 is the computer vauxhall use to read the computer in the car and reset codes, the person you need to talk to is TheBoy. I put a 2015 in my old 3.0ltr Elite and he set it all up for me. you sould be able to play a normal cd in the top slot, have you done that yet.

No the top slot wont play any type of disc! I did try.
But the changer bit is fine.
So can I GET the top slot sorted as I would like sat nav working

Well the bad news is that no one repairs these anymore because there are no parts available. However the good news is that TheBoy and I have a fair amount of spares for them.

First thing to try is a genuine audio CD in the unit, if that plays then try and obtain another Nav disc (beg / borrow or buy from ebay.de), if the unit still spits the disc out then post back up on this thread and we can take it from there.

Still spits out audio disc, already tried that and have 2 nav discs, neither work in that slot.
What next?

Before dismantling anything i'd get one of those airduster aerosol cans and give it a quick blast through the slot (not for too long though as it's cold!)

The  NCDC 2015 that the boy set up for me as a 2013 I got off the bay and it was new never been used but that was 18 months ago just in case one comes up.
