So whats wrong with the original Bose head unit?

its a phillips i think,and the cd drawer is jammed,and constantly clicks away,even when listening to the radio,it even does it for a short while after turning car off

and i want to use my ipod instead of cd`s so i bought a new sony one not long out,where its a dedicated ipod unit,no cd etc and the ipod actually goes inside unlike most that plug from front or back

Sounds good.

You could probably sell the Bose amp, speakers and loom and buy a set of standard speakers.

Ive got door speakers here from a non bose one,£5 +p&Pi think thats 8 speakers in total
