Cigarette Lighter
« on: 09 July 2010, 14:49:12 »

I have done a search and found a few problems regarding the front and rear cigarette lighters, but my problem is, only the front cigarette lighter doesn't work.  The rear works fine. I have checked the fuse anyway, and its fine. The front cigarette lighter has never been used, but still doesn't work. I only want to plug my iPhone charger into it, but as its mounted to my windscreen, the rear socket is to far away.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Possible the Omega is intelligent, and doesn't want a homosexual device inserted into it....

...joking aside, I suspect you may have to get the meter out.  Also, ensure the entire ashtray is fully seated into console.

May sound a daft thing, but has the ashtray unit been removed lately ?.  If so has the small plug for the power that is at the back got a broken tab, and has been pushed backwards out of it's hole - if that makes sence ?.

See 5th pic down on this link that may help you out ?.
