CL Motors/servos?
« on: 19 July 2010, 13:23:16 »

Does anyone know if the CDL servos/motors are the same in pre/mini & facelift cars please.

Come to think of it, are the EW motors the same - gives that there are differences in switch wiring.

TIA

they are all the same post mini-facelift 1998 onwards, but not sure on pre-mini. Never taken one out to test it.

Excellent, so "Goldie's" doors would make a suitable donor for my '99 MFL.

Yup, just had my memory refreshed on a facelift i did yesterday. Word of caution, when moving the lock assembly around, its possible the link from the exterior handle to the lock can pop off. Re-test all locking / opening features, before shutting the door   :y

Yes, indeed, that was more luck than judgement that we did yesterday ;D

Thinking about it, the internal handle was still connected, so reckon we may have got away with it...
