Relay removal
« on: 09 October 2010, 12:59:43 »

I need to replace a relay under the bonnet by the battery but I can't shift it, am I doing something wrong or being thick? The ones on my Mitsubishi just lift out with very little effort, this one wont move and I dont want to break anything.

Why do you need to change it?

The old one might have seized in position due to corrosion on the pins or if it has been fried the pins may have welded to the contacts in the base :-/

Got it out by levering it out with a small flat screw driver. I changed it for the 99 mod for the wiper delay and that works a treat as well all round a good result.
