External temperature sensor - Where is it?
« on: 27 November 2010, 17:49:23 »

As above. Mine is slightly optimistic (apparently it was 60 degrees this morning  ;D ). I've got a replacement one, but can't find where it goes. There is always the chance that i've got the wrong type, but where is the external temperature sensor?

What year is your car?

Pre facelift the sensor was pushed through a rubber grommet on the underside of the bumper on the passenger side.

Facelift (2000 or later) is fixed to a bracket inside the bumper on the centre-line of the car.
