Car has been into garage - battery off etc, CD disc unit is now in Safe mode.

How do I put my code into use it.

Plus how can I switch the code off so it works every time after the battery has been off.

TIA.   :y

Quoting a correct model number of head unit and CD changer would help.

CRT7000 was never fitted to Vauxhall !!

Do you mean CCRT700 ? Which Changer ?

ignition on
radio off using OI key
Press & hold AS key
Switch on CCRT700, keep AS key press till you hear a confirmation beep
The display shows ''CODE'' for 3 seconds
Then ''Radio Code'' and the number of remaining attempts appear eg ''---- <10>''
Enter code with number key
Confirm OK by pressing the multi-functional control

Ok

Tried the method above after finding the code out, went through all the motions as above and once code was in it saod OK, so pressed the multifuction button but nothing happened, tried other options and got 2 failed attempts, on the 3rd attempt it went into radio safe mode.

Had another go tonight, went through the motions and entered the radio code and it unlocked imediately, powered down and went throught the cd procedure I am getting a deactivate message or an option to exit, what/where have I screwed up.

TIA.  :y

It said code ok, and failed attempts ?

Why not be a little clearer about what you are doing and let us know exactly what words the display is showing

because at the moment, I`m afraid I haven`t a clue what you are babbling on about
