radio controls on steeringwheel.
« on: 11 March 2011, 17:42:22 »

the radio controls on my mig have never worked since i bought it. it has a trafic master button & when i press it it mutes the radio. the radio &cassete is a blauput. i think the last owner must have had a different radio in. any ideas how to get the controls on the s/wheel working would be welcome. thanks in advance. big mel.

Exactly what model stereo do you have?

Is it an original Vx one?

Has any of the wiring been altered ?

remove radio (whatever you have in )  if it is an aftermarket i bet you only have one or two of the three plugs connected, if it is a standard h/u check the plug connections at the rear that they are seated properly  :y

You will need to remove the stereo to check the wiring behind it

Never heard of that one.  Possibly cannot accept remote control, thus not working.
