Would a bose configured NCDC 2013 run the standard Omega speaker set up :question

Not correctly -

Configuring the Unit to BOSE will reduce the output levels and range of the head unit, so whilst it would run ordinary 4 Ohm speakers, you may have to crank it up and run it so hard that damage to the output stage is potentially a real possibility.
