alarm prob

hi just took alarm out after going of on it own its casing is splitting at one end and a white staining around the split does this sound like a dying one any help would be great

Very much so. As I mentioned in your other thread - it was probably only a matter of time before your car caught fire. :y

guess caught at right time does the car still have a alarm even though i have removed it cheers

Yes, it still has an alarm, but it will no lnger satisfy your insurers if left like this - replace the siren, as it is a condition of your insurance that you have a Thatcham Cat 1 alarm system including this part
