look what i did today.......
« on: 23 February 2008, 17:24:42 »

Well happy with her, i did the inside yeserday fully hovered out treated the bits that needed treating. cleaned the widows etc.

Today.......
i washed her,  then it rained,
then i tried to t cut out the scratches didnt work,
then i wased her again.
then i clay barred her, god that was hard work! the roof is not as good as i wanted it to be cos i am too small and cloudnt reach properly. then i waxed her, wow that was easier then clay baring her. she feals as soft as a babys bum now.
then i treated all the trims and seals arund the car.
then did the windows.

The nieghbours were all givin me funny looks........i love my car!!!
she needed the TLC.

Dont know whether you can see it down the paint work both sides But i dont seam to be able to t cut the scratches out, Any ideas as to how i can get them out. the other question is......

Whats the best way to treat the rust spots, i have noticed a few new spots, like in the edge of the drivers door where the window meats the panel, its under the seal, the corners of the front doors, the leading edge of the bonnet and there are a few small ones on the inside of the doors.

Well done, good work, looks nice,

If you're serious about stopping the rust, and intend to keep the car running for another 5 or 10 years, you will have to remove the door hardware, and next remove the door panels, and work from the inside out. Water accumulates inside the doors, and when you can see rust on the outside, there is always going to be rust on the inside, as well.

Love the photo´s

Looks good! What clay bar you using? In my expirience claying is a hell of a lot easier than waxing, I can't believe I'm gonna say this but, you need to use more lube!  ;)
