(hi all found out why my mig had a intermitten fault called aa out done a computer check code p1700  auto trans control module also my gear selector light were all coming on so we disconnected gear selector indicator car now running fine :y :y
so the gear selection lights were all coming on was confusing
the module hence problem  so i dont if anybody else has had this problem or not

Sounds like it's possibly the common problem of dirty selector switch:

Warning light has come on again arrghh is there any one out there i could talk to direct i ca pm my number or someone. Gcan pm there number as aa ate coming out again to me i dont understand this car its been fine last and this morning any help would be great im no good with cars and this car is getting me down.  >:(Thanks

weres selector switch it come up p1700 auto trans module so what do i need to do change module or check switch is this a common problem i need more advice :y

And for future reference, it's not uncommon for a 1700 code to come up if the battery has gone flat at any time ;)

it seems ok in drive but if you go in gears(3,2,1,N) then light comes on and goes in limp mode  :y
