A telford treat!
« on: 24 February 2008, 21:06:55 »

Most of it's been said already, but I've got to add my own tuppence worth.
What a fantastic day. 8.30am to 7.00pm without even noticing the time passing by. It would be very hard to find anywhere else the help, hard work, fun and friendship which was on hand yesterday. Thanks to all who helped me throughout the day and for all the info. and guidance given whilst I was just watching.
Thanks to Timbuk for the venue, to Bob Dent for the great BBQ food, to Tony H for his super scones and mince pies, (his business is just down the road from me), to Jaime and Mark and everybody else who made me feel so welcome as a first timer at a working party. And to VX1 for sleeping with alongside me in the caravan on Friday night. (You must learn to trust your Sat. Nav. Paul).
The only disappointment for me was going back for seconds on Sunday to find that nobody had recovered enough to get there early to open up, so condemning me to going home early.  ;D  ;D
I certainly won't miss the next one.

Glad you enjoyed your weekend, Bill.

As to folks not being at the unit in the morning, breakfast call was around 10 then checkout about 11 with arrival at the unit shortly thereafter.....

Hopefully we can all catch up again sometime soon.  It was good to make your aquaintance...   :y

Nice to meet you and Barry also, Broocie,
Great work on Kate's marathon, by the way. I really admired your tenacity. But what a great result, according to Kate's post.
It was a bit ambitious of me to arrive at 10.00am on Sunday, I suppose.  ::) ::) ;D

That was just plain silly - some of us didn't get to bed until 3am....

I was there at 9:45, but then gave up and went to the hotel.  :P

Trains may have been invented here, but public transport is a foreign concept!
