ellipsoid to zenons

can anyone tell me if the swap from ellipsoid headlights to zenons is a straight swap, i have sourced a set of zenons and would like to swap mine over but not sure if i need anything else to make them work...cheers guys

You need the plugs from the ballast units with a short piece of loom. Splice the two wires from them into the same colour wires on your dipped beam plug (yellow & brown). Fit your level motors to the new lights (plug & play). Job done. Then you need to source some headlight washers as it`s most probable that the MOT post Jan. 2012 will require these on HID`s

thanks for that rob i got the complete light units with the ballast units i think so they will have that plug on wont they...i havent looked yet lol, mot due nov 11 so i might have a little longer to source those washers..might just leave swap till after mot just to be safe, thanks for the heads up  :y

oh dear, where would i be able to source these if mine units dont have them, not sure of scrappys in my area, not been up here long enough to find them lol ;0)
