I spent my time going through it today finishing off what was left after Sunday's late night session with KW 

So its all ready.  The tank is wired and connected, the front end is in, the loom is in and the fuel guqge is in.  All that is missing is the 20a fuse sat in the lounge.  I had to get a laptop working before I could connect it al but I must admit I am a little anxious about switching it on.  Will it blow up in a ball of flames, have the bits I've done upto scratch, is there anything I have forgotten?  These are all going through my mind tight now...... Has anyone else felt like this when doing their first lpg conversion?

There should be no problem if KW was involved  .

However, if you are worried, how about this: Does the car still start on petrol ?. If so your injector wiring is OK, and there are no obvious shorts. Fit the fuse does it blow immediately ?. If not your LPG ECU wiring is probably OK. Go put in a liter of gas, any hissing sounds ?. You can go back to base and paint gas joints with Fairy Liquid to check for leaks if worried.

Its another fuel system, like petrol. Provided no leaks, which are a bit more severe than petrol, you can't see small leaks, then it should work. Provided your work is to a good standard, there should be no electrical probs so go for it, press that button, and .........

Dial 999 if really bad

If you feel that way about it, Double check everything. Thoroughly. Is it all tight. All connected correctly. Etc etc. Get your fine tooth comb out.

But in all seriousness... Just give it a check through and go for it! Getting the calibration and mapping right is a bit of a faff with the new reducer so you may want to try and get someone to lend a hand What size did you drill the injectors to?

Oh... And if it makes you feel any better, I always feel a little nervous with every one I've done

if Paul or KW was involved then it will run fine! Mine ran sweet as a nut from first turn of the key

I have no worries about the bits that they and Chris did.  I made all the gas connections and I am worried about having them tight enough.  So much so I stripped an adaptor on the tank.  I guess I'll just have to go for it (with my fire extinguisher sat nearby )

How's the LPG? I can pop round one evening this week if it needs a tweak.

It's running quite well, just need to finish mapping.  I think I have a small leak in the engine bay though.  Out with the soapy water tonight

Have been working on mapping today and it seems a little sluggish when booting it on LPG.  On petrol it's fine, just not on gas.

Are the lambda sensors staying solidly "rich" when booting it?
Is the vapour pressure dropping significantly?
