Where can I find the gearbox ecu on a 53 plate 2.2 cc petrol est.

drivers side kick panel iirc.

could be mostly to do with the selector switch mounted on the side of the gearbox,these do cause problems.. :)

yes, 2.2's often flag gearbox issues when there is really a cam sensor fault.

plus finding the ecu wont help, real gearbox issues will only be remedied by opening the gearbox.

very very very rare for gearbox edu to fail. Very rare.
