mv6 springs

Hi guys does anyone know what code should be on a set of mv6 springs. Recently purchased a set or so i was told ??? from another Forum member,no names metioned :-X.. They re Black ;D. only joking... Front springs do not appear 2 have any stamps or stickers,but the rears have the sticker LP 23 03,if these are not MV6 im going 2 be right HACKED OFF >:( in which case i would grateful if someone could point me in the direction as 2 what model there 4 :y :y

as above all depends on age, pre-facelift MV6 springs are same as rest of the range, its only facelift which were different.

Given the trade club web site is a mare with non of the parts headings listed in alphabetical order, road springs not listed, and I.d ing your car, I'd bell the dealers with a chassis number and see what they say. If it's facelift mv6 they should be lower sports chassis. Which are differant to pre face lift mv6 as said.

Unless EPC can help?

Ime front springs have a colour code as a dab of paint.
Rears have a code written in paint. Not seen GM springs with a sticker tbh.

Your bang on the money :y Chris,there is indeed a colour code on the front springs,purple and green i think and Tbh, me thinks your discription of rears is correct as well more like a painted or printed code. Cheers 4 that.. :y

I think the "lowered sports chassis" has ident LU rear springs.
