Yes.

Good opportunity to flush whole system - esp. radiator and heater matrix -  and change coolant (cheap on TC from Vx)  before/while fitting new expansion tank.  Then it'll stay clean and see-through for much longer, and your engine (and passengers) will thank you for your thoroughness.  :)

Yes.  :y Hoses are obvious - pair of pliers or water pump pliers or if you really want to, there are proper pliers for the job. On the wing there is a hair grip type clip that you just pull upwards to remove - you might need a small screw driver to start it off. And a 2 pin plug at the base.  :y :y

When pulling up clip careful it doesn't ping off Also after clip wriggle tank towards engine-it slides off little lugs underneath then lift and remove plug underneath.Take about 3-5 mins to do. :y

i need to replace mine for same reason. been quoted £45.00 all in at local dealers for new coolant tank. been looking on ebay and if one comes up, either has no sensor or the sensor fitted is broken. i just clear message off display and carry on. it become second nature to do that now!

Sorry for my last post, of course it comes with a new sensor...Didn`t read Shadwells response properly where "he had seen them on e-bay with no sensor"...Need to spend more time reading, and less eagerness to get in and type...LOL  :y :y :y

I will reply via PM mate, as since this thread was started it has been requested (quite fairly imo) by admins to keep buying/selling matters to the relevant section,or via PM,s. :y
