Remove the sensor itself from the outer collar in the bumper and leave hanging on the loom. Don't disconnect the sensor from the loom if pos they never seam to re seat correctly and you'll get errors and have to do the whole thing again Ime. Although that's easiest way to unclip them tbh.
Two tabs clips on the side of the sensor, two small flat blade screw drivers, wedge one in to hold the clip open, then do the other one, hold the clip open, then with free hand push the centre of the sensor through from the outside in towards cross member. Or just pull it out.
Once bumper removed, the outer collar is held in place by a circular clip inside the bumper. Just pull the circular clip off. They are an odd spring loaded affair, not that that makes any difference.
You'll need two supports either end of the bumper to hold it up, away from the car, so you can get hands in there. Think two beer crates or similar. You may remember that from filler fitting.
