Bumper Foam
« on: 02 October 2011, 08:34:32 »

Is the foam behind the bumper same between facelift & pre-facelift?

At a guess I would say rear bumper is same, but front different?

My prefacelift MV6 doesn't have front foam.  Not to say, of course, that somebody hasn't been in there before me...

No foam either end of my mini-face lift Elite, never has in all the years I've had it.

 ;D ;D ;D

Andy - Thanks for confirmation, P/FL bumpers are lot smaller so explains it.

Albs - Perfect, you got front & rear? I'm also going to need that black metal strut which goes across the rear bumper, which the fan then sits on. Any chance you have that too?

Cripple has some extractors which should do magic on some broken exhaust studs too.

I'll make some enquiries  :y

No the rear  :y

There is a black metal bar which bolts onto the back, I think this supports or holds foam in place. Its this I also need, project car has his missing  :(

You can just about see it here, arrowed behind the foam:

Should have that as well. Do you just need the foam etc for the rear,or do you need the front as well ?

Will double check in the morning to make sure I have everything you need. Then just got to sort out getting it to you. Still have the 4 plastic strips as well, so they can all go together - when weve sorted how/when they are going. ;)
