French shouldn't build vehicles, just a fact
« on: 16 October 2011, 14:01:30 »

So.....a coworker owns laguna that is wannabe car and has a problem.....yep, the f......n keycard. He came to me and said Hey, you 're more like some Macgyver, eemmm would you take a look at it? And I did, though I hate renaults. Why can't they build a normal vehicle (they will never make a car!) ? Always something "special".... I had to cut keycard in the middle - it is glued originally Entire blade in it   Split apart

My first car was a pug 405 which spent more time in bits than working.  The HG went where it had literally disintegrated along a 2mm channel between cyl and oil channel.  Then once that was fixed (this was my first foray in to mechanics) the camshaft decided to snap in half shattering two of the camshells in process.  There was a small air bubble in the camshaft where the bloody thing broke.  I took a gamble and bought a secondhand one with shells, I know these are machined with the head so it was 50/50 as to whether it would work.  It worked and it lasted another year before I left it for scrap.  French cars never again.

I had a pugi 306 eight years ago, only the keys were left original after a year of driving (servicing) it. Rubish - total, never again

Well, we' ve tried the keycard and it works (till next time). Keyless go? Yes, no key - no go. Please DO buy a CAR next time. With keys. More keys - more go
