This morning at 4.30 am set off for Paris with the school. Now she trxt and said she was at Oxford Services..... Then they missed the ferrty.
Does anyone else think the driver went welk out of his way?
If you miss your ferry would you not gave to pay again?

There was a big tailback on M40 this morning - down to 1 lane each way...

There's not a lot in it (a handful of miles) between going M1 or M40 if you're coming down from you.. a coach would probably rather do M40 then round the bottom of the M25 as you have more miles of motorway going down the M20 vs. the M2 once you get to Kent..

most ferries run fairly regularly but the driver would need a kick up the arse unless its some good reason why it was missed

Nope! I take it back then, the coach driver was following a very strange route.. I'd have thought he'd done M1->M25->Dartford crossing->M2 or M40-M25-M20.. unless he was trying to avoid roadworks or a roadblock and went from the M40 to the M1 below Oxford? Most odd.

M40 route wouldn't go via Dartford....
