find a new garage.

oil feed and oil pressure to the turbo needs to be checked. waste of time chucking on a new turbo with no lube.

turbo pressure could of been checked without changing dpfs with a simple squeeze of a turbo hose.

As said, this is not a Turbo problem, but a pressure one I should think.  If the pressure problems are not sorted, you'll be without a van every fortnight.

I believe the engines are Fiat derived?  Bloody good Diesel lumps!

Oil is getting to the turbo.....theres a 'bleed' valve on the turbo.....this was undo before the knackered one was taken off.....oil pissed out went everywhere

That seems to apply to most modern diesels :'(

Between the performance expectations and the emmissions demands, they seem to be getting less and less reliable :-\

A colleague used to run a 51 plate Ford Tourneo, did nearly 600k on original engine and still going, His 08 replacement, bought from new, had to have a new lump at 120k. :o

I currently have a Turbo off one here in bits.

Its a standard Garret variable geo turbo and the exhaust shaft seal has failed.
