I no there not the wrong calipers as its very unlikely that two cars from different years both have the same calipers with the same pins both on solid disc's any way it doesn't matter what iv got now lol I need some new ones lol if they did a rear caliper with vented disc's I'll have them and buy some disc's
so has any one got a pair of calipers ?
At the risk of sounding boring, if you have the long pins, you have calipers for vented discs, and must use vented disks. Quite simple really. Thats where you are now, irrespective of how you got there.
When, not if, the rear caliper piston pops out, it is such a catastrophic leak that you will lose that braking circuit immediately. Sorry to sound anal over this. Assuming you actually live to admit it, the last of your worries will be all the brake fluid sprayed down the side of the car. We have seen this before, sadly.
If buying new calipers, why not buy the correct ones for the car
