Well "The Daddy" talks funny (Everyone does actually if you aren't from Massive), almost like Michael Caine, so thought he was getting a little into his character when he said "Were we supposed to leave the bladdy doors off?" ;D

Heaven forbid anyone saying that The Massive talk funny, as I know The Massive all talk proper, like that bird from Buckingham Palace, with the silly hat.

LOL -  ;D

Like it.  :y

Well all has been going well.
Running temp has been tip top - I mainly do little trips around MK - sits approx 95...runs upto about 97 at times in traffic, then the fans cut in and the temp drops down again.
So currently all seemingly well on the temp side of things.

Have had no problems with the stalling with no throttle since - but started again yesterday.
Stalled once - so decided to put the spare ICV that Daz had lent me to see if this helped.
Lazy me just swapped it over without cleaning -  :o
Today whilst popping around she started to stall again when un throttled.
Very difficult to keep running - during the time the problem was happening, very un-smooth. :'(

So have now cleaned out the ICV from Daz and will see how it goes.
Also cleaned out my original.
Between the two of these - if the problem remains - then may need to start looking at other possible causes, but hoping it is just sticky ICV's.

Enjoying the refreshed Black Beatie  ::)

Have you shoved a paperclip in it again, just to check for anything stored?

well, since cleaning out the ICV again, all has been ok over the last week. No stalling and looking good with a polish.
Really pleased. Temp has been tip top as well.
Yesterday one of the kiddies opened the rear door and somehow the rubber trim caught at the front on the drivers door and has bent back. Now can't open the door without it catching and bending further. Really fed up about that.  :'(
So need to take it off and get a new one. Will post to see if anyone has one.

Just wanted a few weeks of happy motoring-

Will get there hopefully.

So - its been a few weeks - but have not had any further problems from the black beastie.
Since the last clean of the ICV - no stalling.
Temp all ok and running all ok.

Have removed the damaged door trim (that was fun....not :'() and cleaned up ready for the new one I have.
Just need to try and align the front door before fitting the trim - the gap between the front and back doors is certainly smaller towards the bottom of the door. Can adjust on the latch though this forcing the door down, but am going to looking at easing the hing over slightly when I have time.

Apart from that, enjoying driving on the slippery roads with these budget tyres. Thought they were poor on dry roads, but on frosty roads....no chance. May have to look for another Goodyear as I have one in the garage and could do with another to put on the back.

Hope all have a happy Xmas and merry new year.

I am really pleased "The Daddy" that your Beastieis at long last getting there.

On a positive note you now know exactly what has being done too the car, which is a he tick in my opinion.
