FIFA Poppy Ban
« on: 09 November 2011, 16:04:41 »

Now  . .  I consider myself very laid back about most issues but every now & again something will come up that does my head in  >:( >:( >:(

~FIFA not allowing our home nation football teams to wear a poppy emblem on their shirts on  this coming Saturday

Who do FIFA think they are ?     sorry rephrase that "Who the break do FIFA think they are.?"

Their attitude towards  the English FA over the last couple of years  is nothing short of disgraceful.

I think it's about time we told them to shove their "beautiful game"   right up Se#p Blat#ers   ar#e >:( >:( >:(

We should boycott the farcical situation of holding the 2018 world Cup in Quatar & set about organising a new Football  World  Championship of our own.

With the best teams in the most suitable location for a world class tournament

Sorry about any dodgy spelling  but I'm  ANGRY  about this.  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(  As I hope plenty of others are !

OK Rant over  ;) ;)

Blatter is a racist  >:(
He is the one who branded all english as a nation of corner shop keepers  >:(
All the time he is lineing his pocket while he is running FIFA.

At the end of the day, he is nothing more than a crook with connections in the footballing world.
When or rather if he retires, we have that other english hateing to**er waiting in the winds .............. Platini  >:(

Wasn't that Napoleon Boneparte?  ???  He hated the English too and look what happened to him!!  :y ;D

The respective FA's should just ignore FIFA and send the boys (or boyo's) out wearing their poppies!! What would they do? Stop the games???  ??? ??? ???

Apparently if FIFA were to allow this it would set a precedent for all teams to do the same....so?

Bit of a compromise....  FIFA have decreed in their absolute wisdom, that poppies can be displayed on the black armbands that the players were going to wear anyway...... Thus the poppy is not worn on the shirt itself and dosn't contravene FIFA dictats..... An exercise in facesaving me thinks  ::) ::) ::)

not a footy fan really but a poppy ban its one of our traditions what is happening to britain when we are not standing up for things like this blimey how is this politically incorrect or even offensive in any shape or form i personally think its a bloody discrace that we are considering any form of compromise

lest we not forget those that suffered in order to preserve our way of life and the proud independant nation that britain once was
