Hi all

It's that time again! Discs & pads are shot! Been quoted £200 for front discs, pads & rear pads (Mintex). Sounds expensive to me!!

Does anyone have a price for a genuine set of front discs & pads and a set of rear pads?

Would be great if I could get at Trade Club price, can anyone help?

Just bought front discs and pads for £97 inc vat, rear pads I'd guess are another £30 on top of that?

I'm over an hours drive away though.

i live in york but will be in leeds 5.30pm sunday (crown point) dropping my g/daughter off. other than that i do need  oil & i could meet you at the stealers. the last ones i bought were under £30 from a motor factors & are still ok after 3yrs. 24k

You could always try PMing or calling 'andyc' here - parts manager at Vx Bury, he might well post out discs, he's certainly posted pads etc out to me at TC prices

This may work, phone the parts desk on Saturday morning saying your trade and need the parts today but can't pick them up till 2ish so could they leave them with sales( parts shut at 12). Pay over the phone and they will charge you trade price and I guarantee sales will not ask to see your card when you pick them up!

Worked for me many times before I blagged a card.

Hi, Let me know if you find anybody. My discs are hanging in tatters too.

Why not spend £20.00 and join AutoBahnStormers and get your own Trade Card from them. Its simply a £20.00 fee each year by Standing order to continue your membership. I did and have not looked back.
Once joined and have been sent your card you have to have the ABS club sec contact your local vx dealerships ( you supply their contact details) to have them add ABS to their TC databases. EasyPeasy and both VX dealers in Leicester now accept them.
